Through everyday scenarios like pinky promises, whispered conversations over coffee, eavesdropping, and long walks meant for venting, it explores the little rituals and unspoken rules of spilling (or keeping) a secret.

The aim of this collection is to explore how hip-hop evolved during the 2010s, both musically and culturally. The 2010s was a pivotal time for the genre, characterized by the blending of subgenres, the rise of social justice themes, and the democratization of music through digital platforms. My book creates a visual narrative that highlights these key moments and trends, focusing on the albums that shaped the decade and my personal favorites. Music has always been something that has driven me as an artist and person so when the booklet opens up I designed a poster that features my favorite 2010’s hip hop albums that overlap with photos of moments that remind me of certain songs.
